Real Estate Investing Isn’t For You

JOHN CREAGER:

John Creager’s career in mortgage lending began after he graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Management and Finance. Early on, he understood that the best mortgage professionals are educators and advisors who provide clarity and guidance, and this principle has guided his work ever since. Based in Sandy, Utah, John leads a team that serves clients in Utah, California, and Idaho, offering lending solutions that meet the unique needs of each market.
In addition to his role at Guild Mortgage, John is also an active real estate investor with diverse holdings across single-family homes, apartment buildings, senior living centers, self-storage facilities, and automotive dealerships. His personal experience as an investor allows him to deeply understand his clients’ perspectives and financial goals. This unique combination of professional expertise and personal investment experience enables him to offer strategic insights that go beyond traditional mortgage advice.
John’s story is one of continuous growth and adaptation, always striving to stay ahead of industry trends and helping his clients do the same. His commitment to practicing what he preaches has made him a trusted advisor and a sought-after resource for both homeowners and fellow investors.
